How Are MOTEGI and ENKEI Wheels?

so i am looking to buy some wheels and im on tire rack looking around for my 37XS. I called the place and they said they were "quality wheels" but who knows, sounds like they are just trying to sell them to me. Anyone have any opinions on them? and they only seem to be 206-256 dollars a wheel. seems pretty cheap to me considering looking at other wheels and packages that go for 3-4K.

Some of the OEM G37 wheels are Enkei.

Enkei RPF1's are considered THE most cost effective track wheel to get.

Enkei makes F1 wheels as well.

It honestly comes down to your personal preference. Anything with an Enkei badge is quality. I would have absolutely no problem running Enkei wheels on my car.

Unless you're racing, I wouldn't worry too much about weight. Some of the cast wheels enkei makes are heavier for more strength.

you will feel the weight difference between forged wheels and some cheap cast wheels. like other say, like running in sneakers or boots.

but motegi are pep boys wheels. if your choosing between the to, stay enkei.

so your saying that Enkei are pretty good quality wheels? Will the drive be ok with the Enkei as far as weight and just driving around daily?

I doubt you'll notice much difference in your daily driving with either wheel. As long as the wheels are round and they fit, I'm sure you won't even notice it enough to disturb you.

It depends on your tire size too, if your new rims are going to be 20s then your tires will also weigh more, so the heavier wheel AND heavier tire will start to add up to decrease your performance a bit as well as your gas mileage.

+1 Enkei

Remember Infiniti thinks enough of them to have them made for their Sport models. You can't go wrong with them. Size will make a difference to the weight, but if you are just doing daily driving with some occasional fun don't worry too much about weight. Go for what you like in the look of the set up. Have fun with it and don't stress about it. Just get something that you like and that fits well.

Definitely the Enkei's! More refined design, lighter wheel, and their casting process is better. The Motegi's are obviously a knock off version. Even the fake perimeter connectors around the perimeter look cheap.

You'll be pleased with the Enkei product. Infiniti obviously is. Good luck and post pictures when you're done!
