If a summer tire works out, I would check the B-Stone RE760 or Hankook V12's. You'll have a bit better dry traction from the Hankook, but longer life and better ride out of the 760's.

soo just to be sure.....the front being 245/40/19 and the rears being 275/35/19 fit on the stock 19's that came with the G37s. I'm going to be running them for the winter...most likely on the Conti's.

I have the vert with the 19 inch stock rims and these are the sizes I'm running. The car performs even better with these sizes and my new Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires.

Does the 245/275 setup also work on a G37X or would that affect the AWD system?

why do people seem to hate the Potenza RE050s so much? no one seems to say too much about the Potenza RE760 Sports. does that mean they are even more hated or whats the story?

Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Quiet and stick like gorilla glue. Factory tires on many supercars.

I think its cuz they are expensive. No one has mentioned Falken...you guys anti-Falken? I ran them on my last car and loved em. I am considering a set for the coupe. I had tried bridgestones on my last car and I hated them. They wore too quick and they didnt handle as well as my Falkens

Re760's have better traction and life, just more raod noise. Re50a's are too expensive for what they are.

I think the stock Bridgestones Re050A is a great tire although the rears didn't last very long and noisy. In the rain they were awesome even till they were almost bald. The Pilot Super Sports take longer to warm up IMO or it's just the Bridgestone has more tread blocks so it grips better the first thing in the morning.

I didn't go with the Hankook because they have a horrible tread rating so you will probably end up paying the same money if not more.

I have Yoko S drive on my G, but I have Bridgestone 760's on my Honda S2000 and I am very satisfied with them. If you drive any in the snow, forget the 760's, go with the Yoko's. The 760's are a summer tire only.

I've wondered this myself. In my experience, they are one of the best factory tires offered. Mine are fairly new, so I have not looked at pricing. I noticed that the new Lexus GS models come with the same tires.

Question - when moving to the larger sizes, did you notice the MPG drop much?
