Blizzak LM-60 19"

Does anyone on here use these with the staggered setup on the 19" wheels? I'll be getting some soon and wanted to make sure they were legit.

Why are you getting Blizzak's, after reading about some of the stories from others, here. I changed my mind...

Thanks for the thread, being in KC I dont see the winters being too harsh in terms of snow fall and I'm getting a really good deal on the staggered setup.

I bought a a set of 18' Blizzaks from tirerack with wheels, cost me a little over 1K, totally worth having a different set of rims for the blizzaks.

dont put blizzaks on 19s

I used my LM-60's through last year winter in NJ which was a heavier than average snow season year. I was out in every storm, bad luck, except the first one which was a blizzard over the weekend. And I can honestly say I had no issues at all.

Around Thanksgiving they will be mounted in my car again, I used them on my stock G37s wheels, and will see how they handled their second winter now that they have some wear.

No, G's are either RWD or AWD. In the Northeast you mainly find AWD sedans. Most dealer, except Kenny, do not order RWD drive sedans unless you mention you are going to buy a BMW instead.

I'm afraid the coupes might meet that same in the Northeast since they are now also available with AWD.

Great tire to have. More sport based so they will handle well on clear days and work well in moderate snow conditions.

Best I can do is online pricing, but you can call me direct or mention my name in the "comments" section and I'll keep an eye on the order

As Neal said, they are good in moderate conditions. Heavy snow can be real tricky.

Just ordered a set of 4 LM-60's after my father did a 180 in the Convertible after light snow fall. I'm going with 19's since I have insurance on my rims, and don't really care what happens to them (it covers everything that could go wrong).

I'm in NJ...I'll try and keep everyone posted with the results over the winter!

Good luck and remember to brake them in first before you judge them. On as side note I just got my tires mounted 2 weeks ago and for the first couple of days they felt a little loose, maybe from sitting around for 8 months. But have settle in nicely again. No snow yet.
