Hankook W409 for winter and wheels question

I'm considering buying these for winter (I live in Canada): Hankook W409 Winter i*Pike Tires - Tire Size & Price Details - 1010tires.com

Has anyone used them before? They seem to be highly rated on that website and they don't cost too much. Would there be a better choice for snow/ice? Price isn't really an object since I think spending more for a "safer" tire is worth it.

My other question is which sizes do I need? I'm a bit confused as to which ones to get for the front and back. I have a 2010 G37xs. Currently the car has 18" tires on it. Do I just need to match the current specs to the winter ones?

And finally as far as the wheels for winter.. should I just go wheel-less for winter or just get some really cheapo ones? I assume winter won't be kind to them with the salt, etc..

Thanks for helping out a newbie
