Question G37S Tires

Well it's time for tires on my 2008 and I have done a little research. I live in So Cal, so driving conditions are usually good and I got "most" of the crazy driving out of my system after the 5th time I was pulled over. Any input on the most bang for you buck (wear/comfort/performance) would be appreciated.

A lot of comments on the Hankook Ventus V12, but I know nothing about this tire. Big fan of BFG's as I use AT KO's on my 4x4 and got amazing wear. Have no idea f BFG makes a tire for this car, or if its any good.

Maybe you need to ease off the throttle a little? I'm at 23k and looking to replace soon

Then you were doing something wrong. I got over 20K and there was plenty of tread left

I've read that the Yokohama Sdrive's are one of the better budget tires for this car...

I bought my G used with 23k, and I just replaced all of mine @ 23.5k. I decided to go for the Potenza RE760s, and so far I'm impressed. They are soooo quiet. Much quieter than the stock RE050As they replaced. They seem a bit more cushy, but I haven't done any of my regular driving (i.e. driving to/from work) since I just got them put on yesterday, however I don't have any complaints yet. I can say they are a bit more finicky when pushed around a hard turn but at no point do I feel like I am about to lose grip. However that's something I'm willing to sacrifice for how quiet they are.

Any new tire is going to be quieter than a worn out set of RE050A's...

I have had the RE760's on for a while now.. great tire if you don't wanna shell out all the cash for the stock tires.. for normal daily driving you will be fine with these.. trust me.. i live in south florida and they are great on rainy days and days that i decide to push the car around some corners.. they are starting to wear and sound just like the stock ones did when they started to wear.. trust me you will be very happy with this tire choice!

My stockies lasted me 32.5K miles. They were going pretty bald on the front insides (didn't align my car after a drop for a month), although I think I could've pushed another 3K out of them if I really wanted to.

I just got the V12's installed last weekend and so far I am pretty happy with them. There are some performance trade offs, but the enhanced ride quality is worth the sacrifice.

Thanks all. I ordered the RE760's. I'll chime in with my opinion when they're on the car. I appreciate all the good advice. FYI..My buddy put the S Drive on his M35 and had some noise issues. He took them in and had them digitally balanced. That cured it, so I'm guessing with the high performance stuff, it's best to have them balanced that way.
