Vossen 084s and 285s..rubbing?

I decided I will go with a staggered setup for the x and figured that 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 will be almost perfect for keeping the diameters the same. However, will I be rubbing with the 285s in the back? I'm leasing the car so I don't want to need to cut anything to make them fit.

if you didn't drop the car there is no way you will rub. and im not sure about the x but if the offsets are the same, people with the coupe run those tires with the car dropped without rubbing

Cool thanks. I thought lowering a car lets you run wider tires because they tuck in.....am I wrong on that one?

If you're going to take your time to post in this thread, at least be helpful.
I've been looking through these threads for several days now and searching a lot, but could not find a definitive answer. Some people say one thing and some say another. Also, the search does not let you look up anything that is three characters long such as: 19s 20s 285. This makes everything take a lot longer because you have to sort through hundreds of threads to find something useful.

then post your offsets and suspension set up. if your dropped, most people trim the fender lining/shave the bumper bracket.

From what I could find, the Vossens are available in 25 or 38 offset front and 30 or 45 offset rear. I will be sticking with the stock suspension. You think if I go with the 38 front and 45 rear I'll avoid the rubbing?
