POLL wheel decision

How many of you agonized over wheel choice, made your purchase, only to realize, "what have I done"??? Just wondering if I need a few days to adjust. How many of you were completlly satisfied with your choice?

I was 100% confident of the wheels I wanted when I purchased them. Once I got them on my car, I was 110% confident that I'd made a good decision. Over a year later I still get a little grin every time I walk up to my car and see them.

Thanks guys, I think I need to give it a week or two before doing anything drastic. I 'm just not that wow'd about the lip, kinda miss the look of the factory enkei, which I still own and could put back on. Part of it, is the ride diff from 19's to 20's is pretty significant. In a perfect world I'd like some 19" volks but those are out of the budget right now! For now, trying not to go crazy over this whole deal, sorry for the rant!

judging by your sig, looks like you got vossens? if you dont like them, sell them. they seem to sell like hot cakes on here. take the hit and spend a little extra on the volks you want. I did and never looked back.

I'd only get new wheels if I know they'll look good (like GT30's or VVS-082's)....

Spend time looking around and don't settle until you find the one that makes you jizz your pants.

^^hahahaha so true. for a long time I had a budget of 2K for rims and I could not find anything I loved. After months of searching I decided to splurge and get the volk's I wanted.

it's not the end of the world getting rims you dont love. just remember that rims can look completely different when it's off the car and on the car.

LOL, spent a year hunting for wheels. Made several photoshops and regularly pondered online sites.. wheel after wheel after wheel. Worse then a woman picking out kitchen cabinets and counter tops.

Funny thing is I was looking most of the time for a brushed aluminum wide 5 spoke preferably concaved. Found the wheel, but made for BMW and the photoshops on the G just didn't sell me... back to the drawing board.

To this day my wheels are the single most complement generating mod. A guy once drove along side me with a camera to shoot them, no doubt hunting for a set of wheels for his Black Lexus IS. That was a little strange.

I liked the GT30's but didn't think they looked agressive enough so kept looking for my 5 spokes. Then I saw GT30's with formula silver on a flat black Lip and I instantly knew I would marry that girl and the whole theme of the car came into light and was built around them. Still love them to this day. Although like a beauty queen they are high maintenance... but worth it.

The rims on my last car weren't first choice, but nice design, dark chrome and wide off-set they made the car look a lot better. It was a good deal, that's why I bought them. Made car look a lot more aggressive and off-set made wheels look bigger.

For G, I'm gonna roll on stocks for a while, until tires wear out, then replace the whole set.
