tough finding tires
The spacer is only to bring them out more flush. With my setup and without the spacer, no rubbing issues. With my setup and the 15mm spacer, I had to trim the fender liner and just a touch off the bumper bracket. Both easy DIY.
I choose 15mm because that is the smallest size that you can bolt on. I did not want to change lug bolts in case I wanted to remove them. I would not go bigger with the S-dirves than 15mm spacer. Use a more rounded tire and/or no camber kits (or dial in negative camber) and may not have to trim for rubbing.

The talk of 18" wheels has derailed this a bit. Our G37S has 8.5-19 and 9.0-19 inch wheels which are the OEM sizes from what I understand to be correct.
You are correct about your OEM sizes, but Neal was also correct with the 18" OEM sizes he was quoting to me. The G37S Sedan has the 18" OEM wheels I was posting about. The sport Coupe has the 19s you specified. In both cases the OEM tires come in an unusual size with few options available for replacement. That's why I added the question here.
Sorry if I should have started a new thread to ask that question. But your initial question stated that you were having trouble finding OEM-sized tires. So am I. It's just that we have different OEM sizes.

What size wheels (width) would one need for those 20" tire sizes you quoted?
I just installed the Bridgestone RE960 A/S Pole Positions (245/45 18) from TR and the sidewall is not as stiff as the RE050s. I should have gone with the Pilot Sport A/S 235/50-18s in the front and 255/45-18s in the rear. That is what I get with trying to stick with stock sizes.
The RE960s do stick in the rain just as good as the Pilot Sport A/S do.

So is the handling mush with the 960s? I like the 050s in warm weather, but they tend to stiffen up a lot when it gets colder and make the ride stiff. I'm considering the 960s, but don't want to give up too much handling by switching to an A/S tire. Is the 960 any quieter?
