Exclamation Winter Tires/Snow Tires HELP!!!

hey guys

I need to buy REAR winter tires for my G37s. 19" wheels

I know the stock size is 245/40/19

HAS ANYONE USED 245/45/19? will it fit still not rub??

I dont want to buy a 2nd set of rims and tires..wanna use stock for winter!

Do you need look or winter performance? I wouldn't really suggest such wide size/19 inch for winter usage. Best is to go narrow tires and 18/17 inch rims.
Personally went 17 inch OZ and 225/55 17 Michelin Alpine. Great for winter, don't care about look when tons of snow outside.

I actually bought 245/40/19s in the Bridgestone blizzaks...awesome tires - expensive as hell..lol

i am running blizzak lm-60s on my sport wheels with the OEM sizes. expensive and wear fast as hell; also very noisy when they wear down

I have the blizzaks too, however I got the 18" package from tirerack with wheels and tires. They are awesome, this is my second season and man they are awesome!

Blizzaks here all the way around ....what a difference. Doesn't make you invincible but not like walking on ice anymore.

Can you use the 18 wheels on the Sport model with the 4 caliper brakes?

yes but you must find the right offset to clear the brakes.

I have a set of 18" blizzaks mounted and balanced on rims...got them at Tirerack. Had them on my coupe for two short winters they were awesome. Just traded my '08 coupe/sport...would sell to you reasonable...maybe we can work something out?
