Advice: 19x11 Offset? 285's, Stock Fender?

Need Advice, doing wheel/tire setup for Cousin's GTM Boosted AT Coupe.

I'm not familiar with the new G37's extreme limits with regards to max tire and rim fitment. Was hoping I can just get a quick answer. I did several searches but none of the results indicated the ideal 11" fitment without fender roll.

I will have the ability to custom machine the wheels for him so ideal offset is what I'm looking for.

i'm hoping to run 245/40 and 285/35.

Based on calculations and responses from other thinner wheel fitments I've derived.

19x9.5 +30
19x11 +38

Will I have any inside clearance issues?

Thanks guys.

FYI, his Coupe is AT but just got the TT treatment from GTM. He's putting down anywhere from 430whp to 500+whp depending on which map he uses.

He's conservative so I don't want to roll his fenders but want to make sure his vehicle can safely transplant the power to the ground just in case he goes from cruising to WOT on the freeway, downshifts and does burnouts on the freeway.

there's no rolling fenders on our cars cuz there's nothing under there to roll lol.

the +38 offset with 11 inch wheel probably will stick out a bit. even with a higher offset you'll still rub unless you stretch it a bit.

He's got Tein SS Coilovers on the vehicle but haven't confirmed ride height. I'm assuming he's only done a 1" Drop. I'll have to get some photos from him. We're in completely different states so that's why I can't take physical measurements of his car.

Ok so here's my question:

What is the widest tire we can run with what wheel width/offset and have no rubbing or clearance issues?

Thanks a bunch. Your responses have been a great "welcoming mat" for me. I was dreading, "Use the search button" response. If this was a G35 or Z33 no problem, back of my hand. This drastic change in offsets from the 35 has thrown me for a loop.

haha, you just got lucky that nobody's really on right now. i'm sure some guys here will say "use the search botton" lol

it depends, you should stay on the mid to high 30's offset to be safe. every wheel is different so i can't really say.

Your best bet would be to just go with a 10.5 in a mid to lower +30 offset and run a 305/35/19 tire back there. You'll have enough meat on the ground and shouldn't have any problems with rubbing IMO. 1/2 an inch in less rim width won't be too much of a difference in contact patch when going with 305's.

Welcome on board RimGuru

See with offsets you can't really search as it's always custom and everyone always has a different setup (drop, camber, width, offset etc..) that's why you weren't asked to search. Had you have walked in asking to buy him an exhaust though.. things surely would have been different haha
