Sumitomo tires?

Has anyone on here had or have Sumitomo tires?? I was told they are great tires and I know they are relatively inexpensive, but I want to know what experiences people on here have had or heard about these tires. I've personally never heard of them until today when the guy at Tire Kingdom by my house was telling me about them. He suggested them as a replacement to my worn down rear Pirelli P/Zeros. I had intented to go with Hankook but may consider Sumitomo if they are indeed a "great tire" I did do some research outside this forum and seems to be a mixed bag between some people raving about how great they are and that they were a #1 rated tire at Tire Rack etc., and others saying their sidewalls were bubbling and they would never buy these tires again.

I have Sumitomos on the front axle and had a full set until a recent flat. They are a very good tire especially for the money. I have the Sumitomo HTZ III. They are a very reputable Japanese tire manufacturer not some off brand Johnny come lateley, I'm surprised you've never heard of them.

Thanks Black Betty, I appreciate your opinion, I may have to give them a try, I've never heard anyone on here talk about them that's why I was wondering if they were any good.
