Question Winter wheels

Hello. Looking for winter wheels for a G37 vert. Tire Rack recommends 18 X 8's all around. Will this work out VS the OEM staggered sizes?

Thanks.

If you have the sport pkg with BBK you gotta make sure you clear the brakes.

Try and get a set of used 350z anniversary 18s

Not trying to sound like an a$$, but no need to post 2 threads https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-con...er-wheels.html especially when there are already dozens on the topic.

As far as 18x8, as long as the offset is enough to clear the brakes they will be fine.

I first posted in vert because that's what it is. Then realized it is a lonely place and decided to ask coupe owners since I imagine the sports pack is the same on reg. coupes.

That is what I am wondering. I am not sure what the factory offsets are and I know you start with 19" wheels. I guess I was really just wondering if anyone got a winter wheel package from Tire rack with 18's.

I just did a different search and found 29 threads about snows including 18's.

Ok, cool. Didn't know you have a convertible. Gotta get you a good set of winters so you can go cruisin' around in the snow with the top dropped back. lol

Yes... lots of people here are running that in winter. Tirerack is really good relative to ensuring they have wheel/tire packages that work on the cars as advertised.

I have run winters on the stock 19" rims in the winter and that was fine too. Having said that, I would suggest going 18" dedicated rims and tires. You also get more tire options with 18s vs. 19s.

p.s. Good to see another Haligonian on the forum!!

That was my biggest concern! I would hate to order some rims or even a package and then have the dealer say "Well you got screwed. These won't fit your car."

Do you still live in Halifax?
I have LOVED my M35X for the last four years and hope to get a G that gives me the same feeling.

I do... love the city... love the G37S.

I'll watch for a new vert driving around. If you see a guy in a grey G37S waiving to you, that's me!!

Right now it is still sitting in "our" local dealership. They actually have two in stock. I won't be driving it off for at least two weeks, if I sign off on it. I put a deposit down and will likely finalize next week.

You should drop by Bayer's Lake and show off your car! Iron Dog Fitness.

You say "just barely". Any chance they will make contact over a bump or through a pothole?

I bought a home gym from Iron Dog a couple of years back... I would be in great shape had I actually used it ... oh well... maybe someday I'll find the time.
