Do you think a Nissan dealership can do there-intializtion? I have a Nissan dealership real close (where we bought the car) and the Infiniti is about 45min away.

Possibly, I am not sure. I took mine to Nissan last year to have them initialize the TPMS (because Infiniti forgot to do it) and they wanted $120 to do it, so I laughed and drove away. The Nissan dealerships by me are not accomodating at all- they are all owned by 1 giant dealership network and they figure that if they make a customer mad, there are plenty more to replace that one customer that they made mad. (This seems to be their business model, customer service is not something they strive for. Even their Infiniti store has horrible customer service.)

Well I have bought two cars from them so they better be accomodating ....FYI, speak with the sales manager about service issues. It gets a lot of attention. I had an issue with a Toyota we owned and service department treated me like crap. I went and talked to the sales mgr and told her I won't be buying another car from them, that part of their sales pitch touted their wonderful service dept. Well let me tell you, they kissed my @ss. Pulled me, the service mgr and the sales mgr into a conference room and they groveled and mapped out a plan to fix my issue and treat me like a King along the way. Service guys could care less but when the sales deprtment comes down on them it's pretty obvious of the pecking order.

I agree! I keep a container of that invisible glass cleaner wipes so I just use those and wipe off the salt/sand build up..

I dont see why they cant, its the same system I believe..now be advised that some dealerships charge for fixing that however what I do is that I go for my service (oil change) and usually tell them oh yea I have winter tires on and my light is on, check the pressure so they usually adjust the pressure and reset the system

Sigh, I still can't find a set of 18" wheels to fit right. The Enkei's didn't clear, the XXR's didn't clear.. spacers didn't fit. And I'm tired of wheel reps telling me I don't know what I'm talking about when I say I have a non-Brembo BBK. They still think the G37S is Brembo or nothing, it's like they don't know Akebono.

Next attempt is a set of Dub Drones. If some people have 18's that fit, what are you running? It seems fitting the older Brembos is easy but the new Akebono is a pain.

Same boat as the guy above - I have a full set of 225/50/18 Blizzaks through dealer I bought the car from, but am trying to find the right wheel. The 18x8 +30 Weapons from DTD do clear the brakes on the G37S with plenty of room and they do "fit" - although the fronts stick out further than the rears, which I guess I kinda expected since I no longer had the staggered wheel set up.

Took the car for a ride and it was almost scary bad. I know I'm losing performance with the taller side wall - but can non-staggered wheels & tires really be run on the G37S with the VDC? The car was really squirrely, and the "slip" light kept coming on whenever I tried giving it any decent amount of throttle - even on dry (very lightly sandy in spots) pavement. Same conditions on which I could still hammer pretty good on the Yoko S Drives the day before (in 20 degree weather).

I'm in CT and need to figure out a winter package quick, while I can still return and shuffle stuff as needed. Should I just get a pair of the stock size Blizzack LM 60's for the 19's if I still can? Or is there a right way to run 18's on this car safely - even If I have to stagger them?

Maybe just throw some snows on your OEM rims? That is how I decided to go. Now I am starting to look for some nice summer rims and just keep my OEMS for snow wheels. And If I can't find wheels that I like at a decent price, I can keep swapping the OEM's as I have done for the last four years.
