19" OEM Wheels

Hey you guys,

I want to have my OEM wheels to be the same size(instead of staggered). Anyone interested in trading either their front or back wheels with mine? I live in Southern CA.

thinking about long term cost. Since we can't rotate our tires, i am just concerned that i'll have to buy new tires often(compared to non-staggered wheels). My fronts are getting bald, and each tire cost $300 a piece!

I think it's a legitimate concern, I considered doing the same thing. Unfortunately for you, I've already gotten rid of my OEM 19's. Somebody will be interested though. Good luck.

i understand your point, and i knew my post is going to upset some people. But think about it, the diameters of front and back are the same; both are 19's. Unless you put them side by side, you really can't tell the width of the back wheels is ONLY .5 inch wider. Am i right? So why not get the same sizes for front and back, so you can rotate them and save a good amount of money? just IMO.

i am not being cheap; i am just being smart.

jenny you are being smart...go on G35 driver, trey to get the two rears....wider is better, you dont want to put smaller tires in back, its not as safe and ur odometer will be off...

Why would she (I'm presuming she's a she) go on G35driver to find G37 wheels? Don't you think more would likely be for sale here rather than there?

Also try ebay and maybe you'll find some single and could get a pair that way as well as sell your pair you take off.

Staggered is getting old and played out IMO. I see family cars (even wagons) with staggered setups. One of the main reasons I sold my GT30s is because of the expense of replacing rear tires every year.

Anyway, it's going to be hard to find someone willing to give up 2 wheels, but if you do find someone, I suggest keeping the rears and replacing the fronts (with new rears) for 8.5inch all around. You can save that $600 a year in tires for other mods.

Jenny, I see your point and though I don't agree I will say this: You can pay WAY less than $300 per tire for 19s, like HALF that....maybe that changes your perception?

Also, since we're RWD shouldn't you worry about the rear tires getting bald? Do our cars eat the fronts faster somehow? Maybe I'm a newb in this sense?
