Cops called this morning and got a match on the finerprints. Looks like they caught the scumbags. They are from Roxbury for anyone familiar with the Boston area and I was in Newton. They have been hitting cars like crazy here and the dealer had an FX with 2 seats, 2 doors, airbags, and wiring harness stolen.

 

Fingerprints ftw! Good for you and bad for them.

 

Hopefully I can get the deductible back but we'll see what happens.

Amazing that they followed through with this, the cost to process prints is over half of what those rims are worth, at least in FL.

 

Umm I live in Newton/Wellesely which if you look up is a pretty affluent area. Roxbury is closer to downtown but unless we start putting fencing around certain communities I think this will happen no matter where you are.

 

thought your car was in roxbury, dorchester etc... nothing personal just commenting. It blows that they went to Newton, which is a good city. (probably why they went there looking)
