Track and dailyable tire and wheel set up?
Hi everyone, I'm interested in taking my 2011 G37S to the race track occasionally, but I don't want to dump all my bread into it. the car is currently running 19" wheels. I want to get:
18x9.5 +35 square set up
which tires specs should I get to maximize grip but in a low cost way? opinions and experiences?
will the +35 make the wheel stick out or in?
which low cost sturdy wheel you guys would recommend? Im looking it MRR GF5, enkei ty5, enkei raijin, xxr 567

Do you have a sedan or coupe? Personally I think the perfect size for the sedan is a 18x9.5 +38 in something like a Gram’s 57DR.
Here are my PF01 18x9.5 +45(+35 front w/ 10mm spacer) and 275/40r18 MPSS’s:
You could run 275/40’s and they would be the correct rolling diameter for the G but just check each tires tread width on tirerack as those numbers vary massively.
My wheels came with the tires already but on my next set I’ll be stepping down in size to a set of 265/40r18 RS4’s. The 275’s look phenomenal but they aren’t the best size for performance on 9.5” wheel. They’d be better on 10.5” wheels.
A tire you can daily and track is possible but it really depends on your location and use case.
