Nothing is professional thief proof. It's just a deterrent to slow down or stop the casual thief. They could just go old school - spray all the nuts with liquid nitrogen or something similarly cold and quick freeze them; then just tap with a hammer and they will shatter like glass. It's not hard to steal wheels if you are determined.
I used to work in the 'hood here in Houston years ago. A coworker had his car pulled onto a flatbed and taken several blocks away where they took their time getting his 4 different types of locks off and stole his wheels and then dropped the car on the side of the road because it was a POS. They wanted just the wheels.
