He's actually right though. If you look at the pics on the cars, the 4 spokes you can see are all equdistant from each other but the space for the 5th that you can not see is a lot bigger than the others.
Looks like there should be 6 spokes not 5.
I'm about 95% sure that those pics on the M3 and the Corvette are photoshopped using the same conceptual rim pic shown on the top right corner of the M3 pic.

It's definatly a chop. I took the full res pic posted and put it into photo chop and enhanced and increased the brightness and contrast and look what it revealed.
The true rims that are on the cars. The rear wheels were exact mirror images of each other and perfectly symetrical. It would have been near impossible to park those cars like that.
rim compaines always chop their wheels on cars in adds. nothing new. as far as the wheel. not feeling it at all. reminds me of the current corvette wheels
