factory 19" tires not z rated?

Unhappy factory 19" tires not z rated?

i just noticed that on my new coupe. hmmm. that cant be good with a 330 hp rwd sports car i've read lots of members on here change to 245/40/19 f and 275/35/19 r tires, but what brand???

The tires are either w or y rated, which is actually faster than a z rating.

the speed rating has nothing to do with the hp of the vehicle....

i dont think people really care what rating it is as long as it isn't H rated or something cheap

Yeah, Z-rating is old school. I believe the sport wheels come with tires rated to something like 186mph. I wouldn't worry about the tires

w & Y were just recently added due to the need for higher speed rated tires. Z is outdated.

Ha! I'm a noob then . So the Potenzas that came with the Sport model are actually decent? After they wear out, what brands are most popular for g37s? I'd like to go a little wider for the next set (245/40 f and 275/35 r)
