Spacers?

Ok so I've searced through the forum and come to the conclusion its going to be either 15 or 20mm all around with the stock wheels and tires.

What I need to know is the difference b/t the bolt on spacers and those that replace the existing wheel studs not bolting to them? I plan on being dropped on Eibachs with stock wheels and tires and switching to 245/275 after my stocks wear out. So which ones are better to go for and alleviate rubbing? Thanks guys.

15mm. sam rubs on 20mm with eibachs and wider tires.

im in the same boat. heard both are fine. our wheels allow the use of bolt-ons so those are easier to install.

By searching through the forum you mean sent me 15 PMs? haha just pulling your leg bro

Bolt-on spacers are the way to go, stud replacement is a headache. You WILL rub with 275s in the rear & 20mm spacers. Part of my fendor lining went loose this morning so I just ripped it off. Haven't had the time to completely remove it yet

Haha yeah you're so paranoid about it lol just get it done and whatever comes up can definitely be fixed.

I'm getting the lining removed tomorrow. The rubbing has eaten up part of the tire wall. And yes, no rubbing with 245s

You basically have to ask yourself, "Would I rather have 245/275, or would I rather have 20mm spacers?" If you'd rather have wider tires, then go with 15mm spacers. If you don't mind the stock tires, then go with 20mm spacers. Unless you want to be like Sam and rub some off every time you hit a bump... Wait, that came out wrong.....

That's the setup I'm running and I love them. I went with Ichiba's because they seemed like the highest quality for bolt-ons.

I would prefer stud replacement, but I'm mechanically retarded and don't want to pay someone else to do it. Bolt-ons are within my expertise level, so that's how I roll. Good reason? Absolutely not. Am I cool with it? Most of the time.

I'd like to get spacers for my fronts. Is it true that you will get vibrations with spacers? That's my only worry about getting them.
