Interested in getting the Vossen 082's...but have heard that you need spacers to clear the rear brakes. Is there any risk involved by using spacers?

 

I wouldn't say there would be a "risk" if installed properly. Just be sure that if you get spacers that are wider than 8mm to get extended studs, which are usually in the package. Be sure to have them installed correctly.

 

This is the first I have heard of needing spacers for the Vossen's. I thought they were advertised as "perfect G37 fitment".....no?

 

From what I understand..only the 084's fit....all other models require spacers.
