Can someone please check your stock wheels...

and let me know how it mounts up to the 'rotor' ?
.
i swapped out my winter tires with my stock summers, the rear (both left and right) sits flush when i installed it, however the front tires / rims seem to have a 1 mm gap. is this normal or something is wrong ?

here's a illustration.

Did the plastic centering ring from your winter wheels stay on the front rotor?

it might be possible the hub rings are still on there, but hub rings wouldnt go into the stock wheels, so there would be a bigger space than 1mm.

was the hub rusty at all, and this gap was still there after you tightened the lugs down??

i took out the plastic centering rings because the stock rim wont fit over it otherwise.

yes the hub was rusty, i cleaned it and sprayed it with wd40, and then torqued all the nuts to spec.

I also noticed that when I put my spacers on. I don't think there's actually a space there; look closer and I think you'll see that there is a tiny cuff on the wheel. I threaded a tiny dental mirror inbetween the spokes on my wheels to get a closer look and it looked they actually were sitting flush but the tiny bevel makes it look like there's a space.

Let me know if I'm wrong!

I do notice the front has a very tiny gap, while the back is almost none. But the gap is not as much as 1mm. I do agree that the slight bevel made it look like a gap.

I'd mine installed and torque to spec 8 days ago, already traveled over 500km since.

Hmm, I just swapped in my summers and noticed pretty huge gaps in the front wheels (1mm is a conservative estimate), AND my car has been wandering left and right... I wonder if improperly installed rims is the problem.

Your fronts look about like what mine looked like after my spacers. You sure there isn't a tiny bevel behind there?

I'm not sure. I wonder if everybody else's stock front rims have this kind of gap.
