It is my understanding that they cannot be asymetrical and directional at the same time.

It is my understanding that the sport tires are directional and cannot be cross rotated.

They actually can be swapped side to side but it doesnt make any difference unless your tire wear is on the opposite sides of each tire.

Read your tire, it says outside and inside.

They also have arrows. If you have one tire with the arrows pointing forward, then swap it to the other side, the arrows would be backwards. This could be the cause of the shaking.

Okay - I'll go with the idea that one of the wheels might not be seated properly in the hub ring. I'll try to mount them again.
Thanks for all the input - much appreciated.

Now that I am looking I don't think either of the wheels on the front are seated properly on the hub ring. Is there any tips or tricks to getting this done? Thanks

when it's up on a jack/stand, place the wheel onto the hub without lugnuts. gently rock the wheel back and forth until you feel it seat around the ring. once it does, you'll know it, because it will not wobble anymore. holding the wheel in place, start threading on the lugnuts.

Okay - I'll try that. It was definitely still wobbly when I put the lugnuts on - so it must be this hub ring thing. Thanks for all the help finagle

Talking

Wow - I feel stupid. It was the spacers from my winter rims - they must have been on the winter rims when I bought them but when I took those winter rims off the spacers were stuck to the hub/rotors - but it only happened on the fronts so I didn't even clue in until I took the wheel back off and took a good look at it.??? Just thought I would share what it was in case anyone else pulls a dumb move like this - they can reference this thread....

Thanks for all the input from those who tried to help me out.
