Good looking stuff always catches peoples attention, and then they will want them. Once i get my lugs in i'll put them on and let you be the judge.

Yeah it matches the rivets nicely, the little allen key that came with the lugs also fits the wheels! haha.

Now i'm curious. for those of you who have the formula set, you can just use your key on my wheel locks, no?

i believe so. the average thief isn't going to spend $200+ dollars to get a JDM wheel lock to steal someone's wheels. at least i don't think so. they are always looking for an easy and quick buck.

if they want the wheels bad enough and know where you park regularly (ie train station, parking garage, etc) they could easily justify spending 200+ on wheel locks to steal the wheels and make 2k+. Or atleast if I was a thief I would make that investment...

mikey I'm undecided if the black lugs look so perfect because your car is black? Might look weird on blue slate...guess I'll wait and see

Thats what i was contemplating too. If anything, you could just leave off the black inserts.

I should have gotten a better pic from farther away, and in the rears the lugs stick out more than the fronts.

^^ I think that's the case with most, if not all. I heard it depends on the offsets.

By leaving the black inserts off, isn't that just making it one step easier to stealing? Isn't the black part where the allen wrench goes? So instead of a two-step process It'd be just one??

Yeah, but the inserts just use a regular allen key and you can get them off, its not torqued down that much at all. Underneath the little black insert is a inverted heptagon design, so its much harder to get that.

the best real protection is to really just let your insurance know that you have a set of expensive wheels on your car, and to raise the "modified car" insurance coverage on it. That way in case of an accident or thief, the insurance knows how much you paid and your covered.
