Lol. Well you'd need a conventional 6 sided Allen wrench to take off the colored screw, then you'd have to have a 7 sided Heptagon Key to take the lugs off. (Which only Volk makes and they don't sell the key by itself).

^^ I was thinking of getting these, but couldn't the thieves just purchase the same set so they can have access to the locks if they see where you park regularly? It's not like each set has specific key is it?

The rays lugs actually are heptagonal as well. Except they have various different notches with matching keys. So others wont have the same key as you.

^^ ok nice! now just haveto worry about them breaking your window and searching for your wheel locks and finding other stuff, since they will assume they are in the car....which they won't be.

^ True, but the Formula Lugs have an internal heptagon, not outer. So you have to stick the key inside the lug to get it off, as opposed to putting the key around the lug to get it off.

If you look closely in this pic, you'll see that the outsides of the lug are rounded

Wouldn't an aftermarket alarm with tilt sensor solve all problems?

What if they jacked up the car evenly at all 4 corners? ..

I have an aftermarket alarm with a tilt, but i like to have a backup plan. I have a set of rays formula lugs on order!

hey Gamedog, are you using the formula lugs without the colored insert? They look good.

Thanks bro. At that time I was running them without the screw-in inserts. Since then I've painted them red to match my pinstripe on the lip

Nice! I ordered the black set, but i'm wondering how it will look with my mercury silver gt30's.. i may just leave off the black insert, and keep it all chrome, like an open-ended lug nut?

Your wheels look sick. Definitely wanna keep some good locks on there.

Good looking stuff always catches peoples attention, and then they will want them. Once i get my lugs in i'll put them on and let you be the judge.
