Another thread from me! Question about tire sizes and brand
I copied and pasted directly from another forum since MyG37 was down
I'd post this on MyG37, but the damn site is down and I need to find out asap, thanks for any help provided.
All four of my tires recently went bald, and I had my rears replaced first (with the OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE050A (245/40-19)
I got a really good deal on them ($100 a piece, so I bit for the rears only)
Now on to the problem, the tires in the front are a different size (225/45-19) and the same shop I went to doesn't have the OEM Bridgestones at the moment or any 225/45-19 tires. However they offered me two different pairs, but both are 235-45-19 instead of the stock 225-45-19.
The first is the Pirelli P0 Nero, and the second is the General Exclaim UHP. Like I said before both are 235-45-19 instead of the OEM 225-45-19. Would I have any issues running tires slightly bigger than OEM tires in the front while running the stock OEM 245's in the back? And last of all, which would you recommend the General or Pirelli?
Thanks for any help once again, the shop is letting the tires go for really cheap so I don't know how long they will have those two pairs around for me to choose from
Also, would having two different pairs of tires in the front and rear effect my handing negatively?
