Tire Pressure for 225/275 (plus zero)

What is the proper tire pressure for these tires now? Anyone have a clue? Should I just go with the recommendation for the OEMs?

What is Max PSI? If they are Performance tires then yes 35 all around would be ok, otherwise go 5 below MAX PSI, less for more comfort.

They are the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus

245/40/19 max psi 51
275/35/19 max psi 51

I'll be keeping it at 35 all around I think (unless other people have experimented and have an opinion about it)... 45 psi seems like an awful lot...

35 psi is more then enough, Remember the psi will go up 2-3lbs when the tires get warm.

oh dude, i have that same exact tire size and SAME EXACT tires... the new Pilot Sport A/S Plus.... lmk how u like these tires.

The cut through rain like a hot knife through butter, but in the dry while taking turns hard i def notice they are not as sticky as the summers... which is a trade off u hafta give. Also if you launch hard from a light, u def get alot more SLIP. =p

btw... 35 PSI FTW in these tires as well.

I hear ya... I'll let you know how I like them. I hope they last a little longer than the stocks (I'd like to keep them on until I return the lease).

yeap... they upped the tread rating from 400 to 500 with the new version of the Pilot Sport A/S... shd last AT LEAST 40k miles i would hope.

guess that means the rubber is slightly harder tho too? hence lil bit of extra slippage when launching.

So far on the drive back home I couldn't help but notice how much quieter these are compared to the worn OEMs.

I stepped on it as much as possible, and so far so good... I couldn't break them loose (I have the 5AT though).
