So I want spacers.

please check my photo album HERE for pics of my car right now. as you can see, the rear wheels tuck under a fair amount. i'm leaning towards 15 to 20mm

I've found some Eibach spacers for fairly cheap and would like to order them up.

I'm assuming the hub size for our cars is the same as on the 350Z?

the site lists the hub as 66.1 is that right?

G35/350z Hubcentric spacers will work fine on the G37S.

I am currently running 20mm front/rear on the stock wheels. I could probably go another 5mm in the front & more in the rear for a really aggressive look, but I'm satisfied with this.

What are the offests on your DCR wheels?

 

Man for your car I would not go more than 10mm for several reasons.

And yes 350Z spacers will work perfect, thats what I got.

offets are close to 38 front and rear. they're 8.5 front and 10 rear.

i think the fronts are fairly close to flush, and i don't really have a problem with them. it's just the rears that sit way tucked in.

do you drive aggressively with the spacers? no problems pretty much means i'm good to go, eh?

@Kid, why no more than 10mm? any reasons other than looks? I'd plan on getting the ones that you bolt to the existing hub and have new studs already in them.

Not at the moment, keep forgetting to take the cam out of the wife's G's trunk.

 

its tough to see from your pics but with how low your car is, id start with 10mm in the rear then move up from there.

 

The reasons are you may encounter rubbing issues if you get too close to the fender and also even with the longer studs I have heard stories about having problems with spirited driving.

 

somewhat bad news..

i took a wheel off last night to see if there were indentations on the back of the wheel where it meets the hub but it's flush. those indentations would be for accepting a portion of the original lug bolts from a spacer. i think the only thing i could do so that it would clear would be a 25mm.

 

^^Thats only for the bolt on spacers. Usually the larger (25mm+) you have to bolt them on. With the 10mm-15mm Eibachs you are replacing the existing wheel studs not bolting to them. No need for the indentions.

 

ah, ic. ok, well. i think i'll wait until i receive and install my camber kit to see where i really want to be with it. i'll try to scrounge up another pic that shows the tucked-inedness of the rear wheels.

 

Both Ichiba and Eibach offer bolt on version 15mm, 20mm, 25mm.

Eibach you have to look up as 350Z.

The second digit is the "type". Type 4 is "bolt on". Type 5 and 6 are "replace the studs" with studs included.

Just make sure you order the right part number depending on whether you want bolt on or to replace the studs.

I'll measure the existing stud length to see what size bolt-on spacer would be the minimum, but i'll wait until i get the camber kit on. i don't want it sticking out for fear of rubbing. plus, the next set of tires i get will be 285 wide, which will be wider than the current 275's i have.

 

hmm, i'm noticing a discrepancy b/w the eibach's and ichiba's on HPAuto's website.

HPAuto lists the center bore as 66.2, but Eibach's website (for the Z car) shows 66.1

Don't know, but seems to me that most are running Eibach from reading the web. Per tech person at Eibach, the only reason they do not list a fitment for the G37 is that they have not verified on an actual car. But they said their is no known reason there would be an issue on the G37 if same bolt pattern, hub size, etc. as the 350Z.
