Alright heres the deal. I have 20' Iforged.
I am dropped on Tein H-techs
The tires sizes are:
Yokohama S-drives
285/30/20
245/35/20

I trimmed the metal bracket and cut the liner. I still rub when I hit dips not even going that fast. but i dont want that to happen. do you think if i go with 275/30/20 on the rear, it would fix this problem? should i change springs? please help

 

what are your offsets?

iforged doesnt release their offsets. it rubs when i hit a dip or a bump on the road

 

does it rub all the time? does it bug u that much?
going down to 275 might help a little bit!

 

it rubs almost everytime i hit a dip or bump. i havent went on the freeway yet but im pretty sure ill rub a lot.

 

is it like light rubbing sound? or its loud?

 

Where is it rubbing... take your wheels off and look... and come back and post...

 

yea.. and check for rubber missing on your tires

 

You can also go with stiffer springs or even coils and maybe add sways. That will minimize the travel distance and reduce rubbing.

either trim is some more, dial in some more camber, get a thinner or different tire, or change offset

we still don't know how much it's rubbing, so we don't know how much you need to change. i'd guess that a 275 would fix it though

 

+1 on changing to 275. That should've been your first try before trimming today the meatal bracket. If changing tires doesn't work, than you're most likely gonna have to change offsets.

I can't believe they didn't give you offsest though. Did you check the wheel itself for any markings for the offsets?

 

yea when IForged doesn't release offsets, they usually guarantee fitments.

 

It would probably fit fine if the car wasn't lowered. There really is no reason for a company not to release offsets.
