18's that fit G37S???
Hi All,
I saw a few posts about this as winter rolled around, but nothing recent. Has anyone determined what 18" wheels fit the G37S (clear the large brakes)? Do 18 X 8's from the non-Sport car fit, or any of the older G or Z wheels?
Thanks,
Tony

i think the 18's from the non sport would fit. its only 18x8 and the sport is 19x8.5, so only a half inch difference. the older g rims would probably fit also, i do not know their specs. is it around 35ish offset? 19x8.5, also? i have no clue about the g35 sport rims.
^ With rims, there are several factors that will determine proper fitment.
- rim diameter
- rim width
- rim offset
- bolt pattern
Just because one set of figures (eg 19x8, +30 offset, 5x114.3) does not mean a guaranteed fitment. Unfortunately, there are also some variances among the various rim manufacturers. As well, the spokes on the rim will also affect if the rim will clear the brake caliper.
Have a read from the tech section over at Tirerack if you are still unsure:

Best bet is to call a company and see if a particular application will fit the car. I've had great advice from Tirerack in the past. If you're looking for something like Volk, Work, BBS ... contact one of the sponsors on this site -- they will definitely be of assistance.
Good luck.
