black or gold

what color rims would you guys choose if you have a vibrant red? it is currently black but i would like it to be gold. its going to cost me 350 to make it gold but i do not have that money to spare. money is tight now, with summer school approaching and gas. i want to save up for a greddy exhaust, springs, and tps, also. how much does it usually cost to powdercoat them in your area? its going to be 87 each for me. i think if i shop around i can get it down to around 250-300.

gold would be absolutely horrendous on any color car.

i would say neither, but if you absolutely have to, go black.

I like gold with polished lip. Either that or a gunmetal color. I don't typically like black on red.

i just got an estimate that it will be around 260 for gold, so i am probably going to go that route. yea, i have black with a polished lip right now..looks good but black is played out.

youll have to wait and find out whenever i put them on..hehe, nothing big..just want to see how they look first. if i do not like it i will throw them away and no one will find out what kind of rims i had...muhaha.. the rear sticks out like half an inch, the front didnt clear the brakes, so i brought 25mm spacers. have not order tires yet. this will probably be a three weeks wait.

damn dude 25mm spacer is a lot. i would be scared to run anything more than maybe a 10mm. I would think about selling the wheels and getting some that fit.

but if you are going to keep them just be safe. always like weekly check the lugs to amke sure nice and tight and then go GOLD!!!
