Loose Keyed Lug Nuts

Maybe the keyed lug nuts are installed at the dealer?? i dunno.. but in the process of cleaning my wheels tonight, I found one loose keyed lug.. so loose in fact that i unscrewed it with my fingers and then on the last wheel I was missing the keyed lug nut altogether. At this point I broke out the tire iron and made sure everything was good and snug. All of the regular lugs were good so I'm guessing the dealer goofed?

At any rate.. it's worth a quick check.

You really should use a torque wrench for that too...

That had crossed my mind Callaway.. I dunno.. my car is normally in my garage in the evening and is parked in a highly visible surface lot during the day.. but it is in a downtown area where cars do occasionally get broken into.. charlotte to be exact.

Great.. now I'm afraid to park my car while I'm at work tomorrow.. lol

true that, maybe someone was trying to see if they could get the lug off and then come back for the rims another time
