FAQ about what size/offsets to get on Aftermarket Wheels...

I did a quick search didnt find alot of solid info and I think a Sticky in the Wheels section would be great...
If its not needed... well I need to know personally...

1. Whats the widest rim that can be put in the rear without any problems?

2. Whats the widest rim for the front without any problems?

3. What is the Offets that are needed?
a. Highest and Lowest Offset in the rear?
b. Highest and Lowest Offset in the front?

4. TMPS info?

5. What tires sizes needs to be on common widths... 9.5,10,10.5,11???

6. What are the most common tires sizes(most widely availible from all brands)? (seems like common tire sizes are cheaper than rare sizes)

I hope we can make a sticky and help out everyone easily so theres no lenthy searching or newb posting questions. I tried to make it as neat as I can in case Mods decide to sticky this... or someone can make a cleaner one I dont care...

If anyone who knows 100% answers to these or any other FAQ wheel G37 fitments stuff ...please post...

My questions have to do with 20 inch rims... so help a brotha out!!!
thanks in advance!

This is the problem. No one seems to really know. I have asked 10 different people and I got about 4 or 5 different answers.

we really need to get the stock wheel weights too. The real weights, not someone taking off their tires/wheels and weighing the wheel with the tire and then looking up the tire weights to subtract that from the total...............

Does anyone here have the time to manage something like this for the G37?

As far as #5 goes, I think its best to consult the tire co. Most offer specs for the range of rim width that is proper for the tire..Here's an example from Toyo for their Proxes T1R:
