Ya do that. I beleive we can find out how much the stock tires weigh on tire rack or at the manufacturers website. We can deduct the tire weight for an idea of how much the rims weigh.

Here are the weights of the tires only

http://bridgestonetire.com/tireselec...roduct_ID=1063

225/45R19 92W = 27 lbs
245/40R19 94W = 29 lbs
(all the way at the bottom)

Wow, so compared to my 06 G35C 6MT, I'm looking at 25.8lbs vs. 19lbs for each front wheel, and 26.2 vs. 21 lbs for each rear (approximated using the tire OEM weight vs. the combined weights posted here).

So... that's 24lbs total in unsprung/rotational mass added on the G37 6MT vs. the G35 6MT because of the cast vs. forged wheels.

I wonder how much the rotors and calipers weigh compared to the G35C... another 15lbs maybe?
