I even went back and forth on the ever famous Vossen CV1's wheel... i even have shots of the CV1's next to my car because i was interested... like i mentioned on my "TE37 Tokyo Time Attack TT Thread," that going 19's with TE37's over 20's on the CV1's, i was shaving a total of almost 800 lbs of unsprung weight off with the Volks set up... thats 8 pounds short of 200lbs of unsprung weight per axle... the calculation is on that thread...https://www.myg37.com/forums/wheels-...tack-tt-2.html ...not hating or attacking by any means, since i know you had that set, but it comes down to different strokes for different folks...

here are pics... i thought and played with 20's just as much... but were simply to heavy for my taste...

that is not me with the hairy arms btw... hehe

my set up was based on the fact that they are lightweight wheels and wanted to shave off a good chunk of unsprung weight... which is why i went with 19's and not 20's... simple, the TE37's in 19's satisfies my needs...

So a simple answer would be you wanted lighter wheels........

Updated the pic post with tire sizes. The front lip might be 2-2.5 inches maybe...not really sure bro. If you need me to I guess I could measure it.

^^^ Congrats! They look black but I suppose you can't see the blue unless the light hits them just right.
