Yes... this is why I am having second thoughts on my choice. I ADDED unsprung weight instead of shaving it.

oh yeah... no worries bro, enjoy them and change them up later... do some research on the wheels that will really satisfy your needs... you have vossens right...???

check this out:
----> vossens are 32 lbs.... BUT LETS SAY 31 lbs (better calculation)
----> TE37 TT are 19lbs

31 - 19 = 12 lbs lighter ------- 12 lbs X 4 wheels = 48 total pounds

for every 2 lbs of unsprung weight, your saving a total of 32 lbs of chassis weight...

Equation = [(48 total lbs / 2 lbs) X 32 lbs] = 768 total lbs of unsprung weight

768 lbs of unprung weight / 4 wheels = 192 lbs of unsprung weight saved per axle...

192 lbs of unsprung weight per axle + perfect offset = more performance...

GIVE OR TAKE (depends on size and offsets)....

Gotta love MATH!!!

not hating on vossens... just going a different route with my set up...
