Dont laugh...

General Exclaim UHP

I have a set of 17" on my Maxima and love them. Not a sexy high dollar name like Perelli P Zero, Michelin Pilot, or some other high performance (and high dollar) tires but the performance and value can't be beat IMO. Check out their rating here:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...y.jsp?type=UHP

I've had great experience with wear, noise, wet and traction, and handling and they're not an arm and a leg either. I don't know exactly what size you'll need but they run about $110 to $130 each in 20" sizes.

I went with Falken fk452.. Heard good reviews on them. They're supposed to be pretty quiet

I also went with the Falken fk452. Great tire good wear and the dealer said that the side wall was stronger also. That helps so you wont fatigue the tire too much if you run it off camber a bit.

the fgalkens are a good tire, the exclaims are ok, not so much of a performance tire, but not bad at all...the toyo beats out both...

I've had the Falkens and the Generals. I've had 2 different models of Toyos other than the ones you listed. IMO The Generals beat them hands down not only in price/value, but in actual performance as well. Have you ever had them personally for comparison?

GENERALS FTW!!!
BEST BANK FOR THE BUCK!!!!!!
They might not be the nicest tires, but overall wise its decent
cheap, doesnt wear out too fast, the tire tread looks nice too.

yes i did and got rid of em....its not only performance...i mean its a good tire, but its bout pretecting ur rims as well...stiffer side walls are a plus for watching my rims...the generals dont offer the same amount of performance and or all around as the toyo tr1....

I myself have a set of exclaim UHP's on my IS300, and i think they're better then the bridgstone re040 & toyo T1S ive had on the car. They handle well, have great tread wear, and they're cheaper.

My friend runs UHPs with his HRE's on his M3 and hes know for one of the lowest M3's ....Hes ran these tires on his previous setups as well, including; Maya's, Volks, and another set of HRE's. I don't think you have to worry much about protecting expensive wheels with General UHPs, they're just as great as the major brand tires.

Here's his M3.
