VPP pays no destination fee....
VPP pays no destination fee....
Guys,
Could you please elaborate on this? I have VPP plan D and about ready to purchase a 2009 G37 Coupe awd. A few gentlemen reported on this forum that they did NOT pay destination fee ($815) while using their VPP plan D.
Is that the case with VPP?
Thanks,

Wrong... VPP Plan D pays destination. See the offer here: http://insidenissan.com/vpp/vendor/offer.html

Well a few guys reported they didn't..I can't imagine a mistake of that nature from sales guy...Plus everything is calculated through the computer...
We are missing something here...
Thanks.

Destination is Destination. There is no other name for it. It is included in both the MSRP and Invoice as the same amount. Negotiating the Destination is the same as negotiating on the price of the car.
Alternatively, you could say that trying to negotiate the destination is trying to negotiate yourself a lower tax rate.
Please don't spread misinformation, as your word is respect as a staff member.

Additional information:
Chase, you had a B plan, and to this day, you remain the ONLY B plan I've ever seen.

Through the Vehicle Purchase Program (VPP), Business Associates pay a pre-negotiated price for a Nissan or Infiniti vehicle: dealer invoice less any applicable incentives, plus delivery fee, plus a destination and handling charge and, if applicable, an advertising assessment fee.
For Business Associates, the VPP price is calculated as follows:
D PLAN
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant's purchase price

I didn't mean to negotiate it off the MSRP. One should first discuss pricing and then dealer fees. The destination fee is negotiable and can be removed at the dealers discretion. I don't pay it and neither should anyone else.
I don't see the D plan on the website anymore, I guess they merged it into the C plan...?
Delivery is one thing dest is another.
Plan C and D is the same thing..
I asked my dealer about destination thinking not to pay it based on some feedback received on this forum. He said the dest gets subtracted at the beginning but then at the end will get added back in.
I'm closer to get my car so will post after that..
