Another VPP lease quote

hey guys, stopped in dealer 2nite and just found out VPP became available. Here's the deal:

6MT w/prem, splash, spoiler
MSRP $40645
VPP $37450
zero down
39 mo
15k mi/yr
$1241 due at signing - 1st mo payment, bank fees(?), plates, etc...
$568/month incl taxes (6% in MI)

Doesn't this sound a bit high?

You do know that it's ALOT cheaper to lease for 24 months???

My MSRP was $42,025, and my lease through the VPP was 24 months, $1,300 total out of pocket, $540/month, taxes included.....

How the hell did you get it so cheap? I called the guy back today and he told me for 24 months it would be $596/mo for 15k mi/yr and $1400 out of pocket. I told him that was ridiculous.

You need to assess all the figures with a lease deal and what is rolled into the rent.

Residual, MF, MSRP, Negotiated Price, Tax, Fees, Mileage, Length of lease ...

the 24 month lease you were quoted proBABLY HAD THE WRONG MONEY FACTOR, and/or residual value.

both shoul be .0028 and 74% respectively...

Isn't 0.00285 the MF?

Also, if you don't have good credit the MF will increase.

Ok guys, I just called the other 2 dealers on my area (one of whom is a sister dealer who gave me the original quote) and I now have 3 different prices on the same vehicle with same terms/conditions:

MSRP: $40,XXX
VPP: $37,XXX
24 month lease
0 down (cap cost reduction)
15k mi/yr

Infiniti of Novi (original quote)
$1389 out of pocket
$555/mo

Infiniti of Troy (sister to Novi)
$1350 out of pocket
$538/mo

Infiniti of Ann Arbor (independent)
$1189 out of pocket
$518/mo

Now, obviously the last quote is the best price, and I called the guy back twice to make sure he did eveything right to ensure no hidden costs when I sign my life away. He did all the right steps:

1. Entered my company name to confirm which VPP I'm eligible for
2. Entered VIN of exact vehicle I wanted.
3. Took my conditions into consideration
4. Added taxes/fees into the payments.

Now the trick is this: the car I want it out of state (i think Ohio, ew) and the Ann Arbor dealer is the only one that mentioned charging me to transport it here. Both Troy and Novi dealers said this guy was lying and that its impossible, but the guy from Ann Arbor seemed to know the most about the program and was straight up with me, no BS.

What do you guys think? Is 0 down, 24mo lease for $518/mo with $1189 total due at signing a good deal?

Nearly a $40 a month difference??? Chances are Novi and sister dealer are shafting you on the MF or residual. I'm assuming they are all the same purchase price. Ask all the dealers to see the complete terms to the lease.. MF, residual, fees, etc. You'll see where one is being honest and where another is not.

If I were leasing, I'd hit it!
