Is VPP available on the G37 now? I just checked the Nissan VPP page and under the incentives it says "Eligible MY08 Infiniti vehicles: ALL"

The G37 is not listed on the incentives page, but oddly it lists the G35 coupe 2008 model year. Last month the G35 coupe 2008 column was listed as "n/a" now its listed as "$0". Could this mean the G37 now is available for VPP and the 08 G35 coupe listing is just a oversight?

Can anyone confirm this?

...Thanks

I tried to lease last night with VPP with a dealer I've done this before on my M. They let me walk out the door without closing the deal. They claimed that the rumor is that G37 may not be available for VPP for quite some time. Not sure if I buy it or not but possibly next summer.

Taken right from the Nissan VPP page:
THE 2008 G37 COUPE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH THE VPP AT LAUNCH.

now available under VPP

If you go on the VPP website, it reads:

THE 2008 G37 COUPE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR SALE THROUGH THE VPP PROGRAM UNDER ALL PLANS.
Has anyone in So.Cal, found a dealer that will allow them to use their VPP claim # for a G37?

Let me know, what dealer!!!!

As I understand it, dealers don't have the option to decide if they want to honor a VPP claim #...they have to honor all VPP claim numbers.

I think they only have to honor it on cars in stock. Most dealers will do a trade with another one. If not, walk out the door to the next dealer.

7-9 months from a District Manager?

According to the welcome page, it states the following:

"Welcome to the Nissan/Infiniti Vehicle Purchase Program Web Site.

Thanks to you, the products of Nissan North America, Inc. and its affiliate companies have become a powerful force in today's competitive marketplace. Because Nissan appreciates your contribution as an employee, we are pleased to offer you the benefits of our Vehicle Purchase Program (VPP).

Note: To participate in this program you must reside in the continental United States, Alaska or Hawaii. Dealerships in Puerto Rico do not participate in the VPP.

THE 2008 G37 COUPE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR SALE THROUGH THE VPP PROGRAM UNDER ALL PLANS.

The VPP website is weird, I swear I saw Los Angeles County listed as one of them when I did search couple weeks ago.

South Bay Infiniti in Torrance, CA is accepting VPP.
I got my G37 on 11/12/07. It was list price @ $43,700, and with VPP i got it for $39,600 plus tax and lic.

I have heard that Tustin Infiniti is also accepting VPP.

Good Luck

I just got mine last night using VPP. About $4k under MSRP & no hassles whatsoever. Best Auto transaction I've ever had!

Dealer Invoice?

Dealer Invoice is what the dealer pays correct? Or is the MSRP sticker price? If it's what the dealer pays how can I figure that out?

* Plus destination and handling charge
* Minus applicable incentives
* Equals participant's purchase price

Correct, invoice is what the dealer pays. To calculate your VPP price, build your car at edmunds.com and they give you the invoice and MSRP prices. VPP price is usually ~$300 over invoice after all is said and done.
