Took my Infiniti G37s out to the track for the first time last night to see how she would do. Car is bone stock with only 1500 miles on the clock to date. Tranny is a 6 speed manual.

I only got 2 runs in on this night (my first time in this car too) but managed a 13.7 on my 2nd pass.

I feel like with a little more experience I could get my 60ft down a tenth or two and drop my E.T. a bit. But I won't know for a couple weeks when I head back.

-Shelby Mustang ran a 13.2@117 if anyone was interested.

-Track temp was 70F

The Shelby driver can't drive. I know for a fact a Shelby can easily put down sub 13s

13.7 on a stock G is not bad at all though

 

Thats really good for a stock G and first time at the track. Just get some lightweight 18's with drag radials and it will make a huge difference. One guy one here tried it and got like a 12.9. Then swap out the rear to some 4.08s and who knows whats possible.
