Ya i agree most people know the qualiy of rays wheels. But i remember there being a thread or two on here asking why people like rays so much and were they worth the money. As far as shot blast? you got me i dont make wheels i just ride on them lol

I've never doubted their quality or that the superior production methods are the reason for the high cost, I just find the majority of their styles unoriginal, plain, and horribly ugly. It would be nice if they would hire some new designers that can come up with something different that's visually appealing as well as lightweight and strong. They look like they belong on a race car and not a luxury coupe to me. I realize that lots of people think they are the best thing you can have on your car but I'd never even consider putting most of their styles on my car even if they were cheap. I'm voicing what I know to be a small minority opinion.

 

after processing, the surface strength of edges is increased, and shot blasting is performed to smooth surfaces...

i was curious about that as well. 12 seconds on the video.. nothing divulged.
