we have seen the is-f hit high 12s in some review so 13.4 looks strange to me, if the is-f can really hit high 12's than the g37 is a mid 13's car am sure by time we will see a g37 hit 13.5

wow, exhaust and fender flares aside, i'm blown away by the isf! those shifts were lightning fast, and the car pulled hard! not to mention how incredibly smooth it was running. i wonder how the 135i will compare with these cars

most of the japanese motoring video's seem to be somewhat inaccurate to some degree. they seem to focus more on entertaining with the cars rather driving to their full potential. granted every once in a while you'll see them driving the **** out of a car.
tsuchiya's a great driver, but he didn't look comfortable driving the isf. i'm sure someone more familiar with the car's dynamics could've ran a considerably faster lap time. as far as the 1/4 mile run they did, both cars seemed to be about a 0.5 'ish seconds apart, which seems pretty accurate to me (granted they both ran slow times, but equally slow).

i think the 1:09:50 by the G37S wasn't too bad compared to the 1:08:10 of the IS-Faround Tsukuba. at least they drove them one by one and not with a bunch of cars to get a better test out of them!
...remember this was Tshuchya who drove who hold the record for that track...so he knows how how to drive those lines.
but i agree with the above poster. he doesn't seem to "like" the IS-F too much...
