Carbon fiber Interior......by Carbon Fiber Element
Carbon fiber Interior......by Carbon Fiber Element
hello everyone,
so i was one of the lucky ones who jumped on the group buy by Carbon Fiber Element!.
The Deal: 9.5/10
it was a sick deal! and even though we did not hit the 10+ people to get them for $600, Tony gave us that price!!!, for $600 you'll have the radio trim, the shifter trim (the large piece), the dash trims (both sides), door pulls and the door panel trim. and i also did the steering wheel as well since I'm doing the interior trims. (the steering wheel is not included in the group buy), the way i did it is top, bottom and inner trim in carbon fiber and OEM leather on the sides with grey stitches (to match the M45 shift ****
).
i also bought the shifter trim (the small piece) from a member here in the forum because it was not included in the group buy (it was done buy Carbon fiber Elements as well) and i shipped it to the shop. they cleaned it and polished it for me for free
to match the rest of my interior.
since i don't live in the US to send my interior to the shop and also buying them from the dealer will cost $1000+, i had to buy everything from ebay and ship them to the carbon fiber element!, it was a lot of money but it's worth it!
Communication: 10/10
the entire time i was talking to Tony though PM's (30+ PM's) here in the forum and he replies on the same day or the next, except for one time he took couple of days lol but still in terms of communication i give them 10/10 because other vendors take days to reply back! and i'm talking about PM's, posts in threads and profiles lol.
quality of work: 9/10
the only reason why i gave them 9 instead of 10 because i noticed a spot in the radio trim where the clear coat is coming off!? (see the pictures below) not sure how this happened
but i cant do anything about it now because the parts are here and will cost a lot to send this piece back to the US so i have to live with it
but other than that all pieces looks amazing! and well made!. the steering wheel is what i like the most!, smooth clear coat and the stitches are perfectly done!.
shipping: 10/10
shipping is very importing to me! because the boxes will travel to the other side of the world and will be inside cargoes, warehouses, trucks...etc until i get them and basically they will be like a punching bag through the entire journey lol but Tony did a good job wrapping the pieces, i had to go through tons of news papers to reach the piece lol but all of them are in good shape, no damages!
installation:
i did it myself! including the steering wheel. pretty easy to be honest!, just followed the DIY threads here in the forum. however i faced one problem with the steering wheel, one of the screws that you need to remove in order to pull the air is damaged! and now i don't have a grip when i try to turn it!
( stupid Infiniti had to put a T-Torx screw!!) but fingers crossed i don't have to remove the steering wheel again! cuz it will take a lot of time to figure out how to remove it! lol
overall, I'm happy that i jumped on this deal. I've always wanted to change my interior to Carbon fiber to match the rest of my Carbon fiber parts
but for sure i will send more stuff to them.

I can't say, in my short time on this forum, that I've ever seen ANY pieces from CFE that didn't look top knotch. And I haven't seen any unhappy customers either.
I really like the two tone interior you have. The redone trim really looks good with the lighter color.
Nice job CFE.
