yeah, no luck with paypal because it was sent as a gift. a learned lesson there. and although his website is down, he's been active here, so who knows..

Moderators do not have the authority to suspend a vendor's account for a dispute with a customer.

For everyone's benefit: If you purchase ANYTHING from ANYONE, vendor or individual, do NOT send PayPal payment as a gift unless you have no problem with not receiving merchandise and not being able to get any help from PayPal. A gift is something given willingly with no expectation of anything in return. You will have absolutely no recourse.

I see private classifieds and vendor listings all the time requesting payment as a gift so that the seller avoids PayPal fees. If sellers dont want to lose a couple of bucks to PayPal in fees on a sale, they should simply ask for 2.9% more in the selling price. If you send money as a gift for a purchase, you are asking for trouble.

 

yeah, no luck as of 12/15. At this point, just looks like a lesson learned. His website is down, so not sure if he's even doing business anymore. However, if he is, DO NOT USE JEB PERFORMANCE. Just a warning for anyone looking to buy anything, not worth losing the money and certainly not worth the hassle.

Looking at my phone records, that's the # I called when I provided the payment info. It sounded like it might be a cell # though.

Also, I have additional info off the shipping label still on the box. I will scan that and PM the OP.

honestly, even if it's one complaint on here, i probably wouldn't order anything costing substantial $$ from this company after reading this.
