My issue with Ark Performance (resolved)
This has to be the worst customer service next to hp auto. For those who do not know I bought this exhaust new from Ark two weeks ago . It finally arrived last week and guess what ? No gaskets and the mufflers are scratched all over . I have long scratches deep scratches and short ones . I contacted Alex to let him know and sent the pictures he requested. No keep in mind Ark prides themselves in quality and assured me this is a fluke. Well I called today for a update and was told the gaskets haven't shipped yet and I have to rebox the mufflers and send it back to them. I was also told this boils down to them losing money on shipping. Why would they not ship the new mufflers with a return shipping label so I dont have to continue to wait? I was also told to package the mufflers nicely so they can resale them. So this has me wondering .. Was this exhaust new in the first place ? Was this someone else returned exhaust . The whole exhaust has alot of scratches and I only want the mufflers replaced . What gives ? They can have this thing back.. Will post pics this evening when I get off of work... You guys can decide..

I was going to buy motordyne but it's going to be a long time before they have a exhaust for the g37. I went with Ark due to the sound and looks of their exhaust. What's weird is that they really do hype up quality compared to the competition and I received a exhaust that they don't want to take care of.

Spoke to Alex when the exhaust arrived. No gaskets. He said they would ship that day. Called him back after I laid the exhaust out to take pics off all the scratches and small dings. He said it was a packaging issue not a carrier issue and he would take care of me. Sounds good to me . I just want the mufflers replaced. Not the entire exhaust. No problem. I call today and guess what. You guys tell me "ark" you don't want to lose money on shipping and get pissy .

For real dude.. HKS, FI or MXP ( I've had two out of those three).. I keep hearing horror stories about ARK and won't be ordering from them. Seems the only time they respond and do something is after someone slams them on the forum!

Well that's good to know about the horror stories. I wish I Knew that before I ordered it . I'm still waiting for my receipt to me sent to me via email. I also called many times for that as well.
