I'm not sure if that's a typo but we are all supposed to be there at 10:30 to organize whatever we need, gopros, chat for a bit, etc. so we can leave at 11AM and considering if you're coming from central NJ wherever that may be you wouldn't make it there in time if you left at 10:30, I'm off of exit 136 on parkway what's still considered to be central and it's still 45 mins to get to the meet up spot

 

It wasn't a typo lol I have to meet a couple clients at 10AM on Saturday. I'm coming from Somerset so it'd take me about an hour to drive to Rockaway. I figured that I'd be going directly to Gouldsboro so that nobody has to be delayed

Yes i am in Bucks country right by the bensalem exit of the PA TPK and rt 1,

close to you? We could meet at the starbucks by that exit.

 

Got back into town this AM...cutting it kinda close...LOL.

Getting ready to pre-pack for departure in the morning. G could use a little TLC, but that's what I get for tight planning....oh well, the most important thing is being there.

Weather tomorrow looks like a mixed bag of very-hard-to-tell-what-the-hell-it-will-do-when...maybe it'll wash some dirt off VIVID...

Actually a bit out of the way from me. I'm near the Conshohocken exit of 76. I was planning on going up 309, maybe we could meet somewhere along there

 

It's been frustrating watching the forecast for Northern PA. "Light Rain" all freaking day from sun-up to sun-down can mean just about anything. What really sucks is how perfect the weather is going to be in that area for days afterwards, dammit.

In any event, my car is clean as it can get. The nose is taped up for a bug-free trip. I'm packed and just settling in for the opening ceremony in Rio.

4 (small) bags of good match lite charcoal
2 bottles of ketchup & mustard
3 packs of plates
3 long sleeves of cups
2 boxes of plastic spoons
2 boxes of plastic forks
5 packs of Hebrew National beef hot dogs
(Was gunna get BallPark but these were on sale sorry guys lol)

* I seriously hope someone brings BBQ tools to cook with unless we plan on flipping burgers and dogs with our hands I say this bc nobody signed their name up for that. If I have time I'll stop by the dollar store and pick some up depending what time they open in the morning *

I forgot to buy bags of chips but if I have time tomorrow morning I will.

As for the hotel everyone is staying at (Nichols Village & Spa) I called to make a reservation tonight (yeah talk about last minute) and he assured me they were totally booked without any available rooms at all! I was so bummed out but went ahead onto their website and booked a room and BAM! it went through. Called backed to confirm my reservation and low and behold I have a room!

Again for anyone reading this and not wanting to scroll back a few pages many of us NJ/NY guys/gals are meeting up here...
