Igor, this TSB should not matter with your mileage, it was done for me at 12,500 miles. In fact rotors should not be warped to any extent under normal usage below 30k miles! They should agree to do this for you, 12k is nothing. We have a Lexus IS at home with 26k miles and the brakes have not been serviced ONE BIT.

Well the dealer called me back. They agreed to resurface my rotors at this time. At 25k I'm wondering if this is OK, they refused to replace them. I guess if it happens again, I will force a replacement.

I went to the dealership and they swapped my front rotors and pads out for new ones, gave me new pads in the back and cut the rears. Everything is good now.

I just picked up my third G35X. I started with a 2004, then a 2007 and just got the 2009. Warped rotors have been a problem on the first two after 10,000 miles, and I fully expect the same thing to happen with this one. I replaced pads and rotors on the first two and did not have a problem afterwards. I went with after market rotors and pads, nothing fancy. They worked fine. I've accepted this as about the only shortcoming I've had with the G. Everything else about the car(s) have been great.

Thank You!

Thank you for this post and the PDF files for the proof!

I had this happen to me at about 16,000 miles and thought some how one of the rotors went bad. I couldnt belive it because I've been careful not to glaze them. I was just going to buy new rotors thinking the stocks where crap, now I'm at 18,000 and will schedule this tomorrow with my dealership.

I just had the brake TSB done on my G37S yesterday. I got the car a few weeks ago with 19k on it, so I took it in to to get the brakes (had a vibration) and a few other things checked last week. Also asked the Dealer to check on any outstanding TSB's while it was there. They said there would be a $60 charge for the brake inspection up front, and then called to tell me the front rotors were slightly warped and that it would be $240 to turn them since it wasn't covered under warranty.

I actually had to get the TSB # from here and call them back to get them to cover it(and the TSB for the exhaust rattle). After checking into it, the Service Advisor called me back and said that I was right, and that they'd even waive the $60 inspection charge - ya think!

They only resurfaced the fronts and put the front baffles on - they said Infiniti would not pay them to replace the pads unless they were worn beyond the wear point (4mm's - mine are supposedly at 7mm).

This is my first Infiniti and I gotta say I'm not too impressed with the dealer so far.

i'm having the same problem right now too. it started when backing up there's this nasty squeaking noise to it and now there's slight vibration on it on highway speeds.

worse of all my dealer blames it on my aftermarket wheels cuz they say the lug's wasn't torqued right and caused the rotors to have run off's and probably not gonna warranty it. it's been more than a month since i have heard from them. sucks!

^^ Challenge this! Tell them you are going to call Infiniti and complain.
If they have a TSB for it and you only have vibration at about 50MPH - 100MPH then challenge it and make them fix it! I have my car scheduled to be looked at for this for this Friday and I will post an update on this.

Sorry but if there is a TSB for it they will fix it if you twist there arm!

UPDATE: I put my car in 2 weeks ago but they re-scheduled this so they could order parts.

My car is in the shop today for this TSB getting fixed so I'll post an update later on what was done and the final outcome!.

UPDATE*** - Fixed by dealership. No Cost! Replaced 2 heat baffles in front and it seems they turned rotors. I haven't taken it on the highway yet will do later tonight when highway is freed up.
