ITB08-018b Clicking Noise from Rear Axles

Is there any chance this could happen to a '09 G37 sedan? (it says 09 G35 in the TSB, but maybe that is a typo?) I swear I hear the same clicking noise described in this; took it to the dealer and naturally the car didn't make the noise so they think I'm crazy.
I wouldnt think so. they found out about this issue early on in the 37 coupe. so i think they would have got it sorted out for the 09 sedan

I've been lurking for a while now here... So this time I thought I'd throw my hat in...
I've had this ti-tink ... tink on the rear for a while now. So, thinking that it was the drive shaft I replaced that... didn't solve the ti-tink... tink....
But this was not a waste as all three u-joints were notchy feeling and now the shifter feels smoother in the hand. Still I got this ti-tink... tink when I accelerate and decelerate. So if this is the axle (my left side...) replacing the half shaft is the cure? My car is out of warranty 2008 G37S. Had it since 6000 mile on the odo.

unfukcing believable.. I took my car into the dealer yesterday to have this fixed and they told me "We dont hear it." They refused to fix it and told me there is no such reported problem with the G37. I then proceeded to tell them its the exact noise my 350 made. Its the axle and I know it. I even made them bring the master tech out and he was like "I still dont hear it." Are you friggin kidding me? It stuck out like a turd in a punch bowl!!! Here is where it gets funny..... I told the service advisor I would go home and search the forums and he acted like everyone on the forum is an idiot (and most of us are (:P..) and pretty muched laughed when I said that, basically saying we know nothing and Im a fool for even being on a forum.
Well I just called back and was like.. "I was in yesterday for the axle clicking noise you couldnt hear... Well hear these numbers I.T.B 0.8. - 1.8. and he was all like WTF... asks me to please wait a min and then returns saying "We can take care of that for you sir!"

Mind you too, the same guy told me the day before there was no ITB on this issue and I asked "Are you certain? Im sure Im not the first person to experience this." He confirmed twice this wasnt a problem with the G37's. LLMMFFAAOO..
Just had to share this with the community. Sorry for being long winded, but it really shows how powerful thousands of individual people are when our knowledge is combined. Thanks guys for keeping this forum alive and strong (:P

Looks like it's not so much a CV problem as it is an assembly issue. Makes me feel a little better... Still it's looks like an afternoon on my knees and back....

Im not entirely sure if my car has this problem but it does sound related. I hear a ticking sound coming from my right rear. The ticking sound gets faster as the car accelerates. At first i thought it was a nail on my tire, but there was not.
I jacked the car and inspected the brakes, turned the wheel and there was no noise. I had both rear wheels off the floor, and turned the car on and left it on gear and let the wheels spin. No sounds.
Seems like the ticking sound only happens when somethings under load. I let the car roll down hill on neutral and was able to hear the ticking sound.
Im stumped.

Wheel Clicking... 2012 G37 Convertible
This is a loud click now, coming from the rear. It sounds like a ball peen hammer hitting the solid metal of the axle whenever I put pressure on the drive train.(aka stop to accelerate)

This is the axle itself now. Unfortunately same thing happened to me. Went in with the impression I could mend it properly by grease and enough torque but the click was coming from both the spline on the hub and the tripods of the axles.

Mine was bad for the longest time, and I eventually bit the bullet and paid the dealer to do the work and it hasn't come back since.
I wonder why it doesn't work for some, but does for others?
