doesn't matter which mode. i noticed it most during regular D mode.

I just got my car back this morning and the rpm increase is now gone but now when i floor it from a stop it takes about a full second before it gets going. is this because it has to relearn my driving habbits?

does it really learn our driving habits and change how it behaves accordingly?

I have had the same issue - same here - afraid that I was the only one. I have had it back for about 5 weeks or so. Seems more sluggish - seems like a heavy underpowered 6 cylinder now.

Anyone else want to speak up? We need to get this addressed!

did you take the tsb print out to the dealer?? i took mine and they fixed it right away. I have no problem with mine. If you still have problem (after fixing from dealer) i think yours have different issue.

I asked the service department if it was possible to flash back to the original program, and they said no.

The other day I was getting on the highway, and there was a 5-6 year old Volvo getting on the on-ramp in front of me - I could not keep up with him. It wasn't anything special, just a 5-6 year old Volvo, and it wasn't their performance S60 or R60 (whatever that model is). I don't understand how a non-modified Volvo would pull away from me. It doesn't seem to have the Infiniti "surge" of acceleration anymore - is it just me?

The service rep offered to drive my car and give me his opinion - I might take him up on that - not sure what they can do about it though.

Good idea. Is the G8 the new one with 361hp?

I emailed the dealer today - the service manager said there have been no come-backs regarding the ECU flash. He said to bring the car in and he will drive it.
